The visit to Japan conducted by representatives of Da'wah Management lecturers from the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences (Fdikom) is one of the follow-ups to the MOU that was previously implemented by Fdikom UIN Jakarta and Southeast Asian Studies Kyoto University, Japan. The workshop activity which was held from 16-20 April 2025 took place in the CSEAS meeting room, Kyoto University, Japan.

This activity was attended by Dr. Wahyu Prasetyawan, MA who is also a researcher in Kyoto, Japan. This Da'wah Management Masters lecturer said that the collaborative research between UIN Jakarta and CSEAS was a very good collaboration. The activity was also attended by the Head of the Da'wah Management S1 Study Program, Amirudin M, Si who had the opportunity to attend as a speaker. "This activity is very important to improve the competence of students and lecturers. Through this Workshop, it is hoped that it will produce internationally reputable journal publications," he concluded. Prof. Okamoto Masaaki and Marisa as representatives of CSEAS Kyoto welcomed this activity and also hoped that the collaboration between Kyoto University and UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta would continue.
